Awarded the best sub-senior concert prize by the Indian Fine Arts Society, Chennai - January 2004 Awarded the Dr. S.Ramanathan Endowment Prize for the Best Raga Alapana during the December 2001 Music Season at Chennai by The Music Academy. Awarded the Tanjavur S.Kalyanaraman Memorial Prize for the Best Vocalist by the Sri Krishna Gana Sabha in the 44th Gokulashtami Series (1999). Awarded the First Prize in the All India Pallavi Singing Competition awarded by The Music Academy, Madras in December 1990.
